For three days, a collection of loose colored gems travels to our showrooms, one day at each: sapphires, rubies, emeralds, and colors most people only ever see in photographs. Some are rare. Some come from places you would not expect. A gem expert walks the collection with you, and you choose with the gem in your hand, under the showroom lights. Then a J. David designer sits down with you to sketch the piece it becomes, made on our own benches.

Take your gem home that day, or leave it with us to be set. Either way, from that moment, it is yours.

Every gem in the collection is one of a kind, and it moves on when the three days end. What is chosen that week will not be there the next.

Under the loupe and the showroom light, with a gem expert beside you. The color that stops you is the one.

Our goldsmiths set the center on our own benches, where every J. David piece is made and, for a lifetime, cared for.

At each of our three showrooms, one guest will receive $250 toward the setting that turns their gem into something forever theirs. Reserve an appointment, join us, and your name is entered. No purchase necessary.

One name is drawn at each showroom after the three days, from the guests who reserved and came. The official rules are the same ones that govern every J. David giveaway.
