Contest Rules

Official Contest & Giveaway Rules

The standing rules for every J. David contest, giveaway and drawing.

These are the standing rules for every contest, giveaway, drawing, and sweepstakes J. David Jewelry runs.

Each individual contest publishes its own specifics — when it opens and closes, how to enter, and what the prize is. Where a contest's own published rules differ from anything here, that contest's rules control.

No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited.

1. Sponsor

J. David Jewelry, 8200 East 101st Street, Suite B, Tulsa, OK 74133 ("Sponsor"). Questions: (918) 364-6300.

2. Eligibility

Open to U.S. legal residents who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of J. David Jewelry, along with their immediate family members and members of the same household, are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

An individual contest may narrow this — to Oklahoma residents, for instance. Its own published rules will say so.

3. Entry period

Each contest publishes the date it opens and the date it closes. Entries received outside that window are not eligible and will not be considered. Sponsor may close a contest earlier than the published date.

4. How to enter

Each contest publishes its own entry method — checking in at an event, completing an entry form, or submitting a survey. Unless that contest's rules say otherwise, the limit is one (1) entry per person, and multiple entries from the same individual may result in disqualification.

No purchase and no RSVP is required to enter or win, and an RSVP by itself is not an entry. When you enter, provide your name and valid contact information so we can reach you if you win.

5. Drawing and winner selection

The winner is selected at random from all eligible entries received during the entry period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. Each contest publishes when its drawing happens.

The winner need not be present to win, and will be contacted using the contact information provided at entry, by phone and/or email, within three (3) business days of the drawing. If the selected winner cannot be reached within seven (7) days, is found ineligible, or fails to comply with these rules, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner drawn.

6. Prize

Each contest publishes its prize and that prize's approximate retail value.

Prizes are non-transferable. There is no cash equivalent and no substitution. Any taxes on a prize are the winner's responsibility.

Where a prize is awarded as credit toward a purchase, that credit must be redeemed within two (2) years from the date it is awarded; any unused portion expires and is forfeited. Prize credit is non-refundable and may not be applied to prior purchases, repairs, loose diamonds, financing balances, or discounted and sale merchandise, unless J. David Jewelry management approves otherwise.

7. Claiming a prize, and publicity

To claim a prize, the winner must present valid government-issued photo identification and sign an eligibility affidavit and a liability and publicity release where lawful. Failure to do so forfeits the prize.

By accepting a prize, the winner grants J. David Jewelry permission to use their name, city and state of residence, likeness, photographs, video, and/or statements for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

8. Your information

Entering means you consent to J. David Jewelry collecting and using your information to administer the contest and award the prize. Entrants also agree to receive future promotional, marketing, and event communications from J. David Jewelry, and may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any message or by telling any showroom.

How we handle your information generally is covered in our Privacy Policy.

9. General conditions

Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel a contest at any time and without prior notice if fraud, a technical failure, or any circumstance beyond Sponsor's control affects its integrity or proper administration. Sponsor's decisions on all matters relating to a contest are final.

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, or for technical malfunctions or human error affecting participation or administration.

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless J. David Jewelry, its owners, employees, affiliates, agents, and representatives from any liability, claims, damages, or losses arising out of participation in a contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of a prize.

10. Not affiliated with the platforms

A contest may be promoted on social media or through an event platform. No contest is sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Meta, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or any other platform on which it appears.

11. Governing law

These rules are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Any dispute arising from or related to a contest is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Tulsa County, Oklahoma.
